Sharada Tolton is a photo illustrator, writer, and art educator in Berkeley, California. She is the co-editor and designer of Muff, a bi-annual magazine of feminism and esoterics. Across projects, Sharada gravitates to speculative fiction, spirituality, and fashion. Visually, she quilts together vintage ads, medical diagrams, outmoded computer graphics, and natural textures to illustrate a retro-futuristic world of cyborg sociality, animated ecology, and spiritual possibility.
Sharada studied English at Haverford College and Teaching Art & Design at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She has lived and worked in Philadelphia, Tokyo, and Oakland. Her big dream is to have a risograph press and publish young artists' work. Sharada is always excited to hear your ideas for collaborations and commissions.
